In 2004, Alan signed with Flamengo, one of the top clubs in Brazil, where he played for four years. During his time at Flamengo, he helped the team win two Copa Libertadores titles and numerous other domestic honors. His performances were so impressive that he was named the best player in the league during the 2007 season.
After leaving Flamengo,Saudi Pro League Focus Alan moved to Europe, where he played for several teams including Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan.
