Marcano, the Spanish footballer who has been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent months, has joined Portuguese giants FC Porto on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 24-year-old forward, who has scored 18 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions this season, has impressed at the Estadio do Dragao, where he is expected to help strengthen their defensive line.
