João Mário, known as J.M., is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Benfica in Portugal. He was born on August 24, 1995, in São Paulo, Brazil, and began his career at the age of six with local club Corinthians. After progressing through their youth ranks, he moved to Europe in 2011 and joined FC Porto.
